Free Swim Lessons for 6th Grade Students in Opelika

What to know about the Free 6th Grade Lessons

  • When / Where / and How much are the lessons:

    The Lessons will be at the Opelika SportsPlex on Thursdays starting April 9th from 4:30 – 5:30p.  The lessons are free of charge but registration is required at the link below.

  • Who should take the lessons?

    These lessons should be for students who do not know how to swim or for swimmers who want to improve their swimming technique.  We will work with the swimmers based on their current abilities.

  • What is the Goal?

    We want to grow swimming in Opelika.  Sometimes that starts with learning how to swim.  We also want to open the door for new swimmers at the high school level.  OHS has had claimed 6 individual and relay titles in the last 5 years.  We want to make sure the future of swimming in Opelika continues to thrive!
